Doodle Jump

It's Doodle Jump!!!!!!!!! From Lima Sky...
As well as the other apps I have reviewed this has been the top of the top paid app chart or near the top at some point in it's "life"and unlike Flight Control, it deserves it....

Doodle Jump is very simular to Papi Jump, basically you play as presumably Doodle and jump from platform to platform avoiding hostile beings and infinate density black holes...
Luckily you can shoot at the enimies apart from the black hole.
As you move up, anything off the screen (below) is now gone and once you fall it is game over...

You can also use a propellor hat and a jet pack to help you along....
An Easter Egg is also included, where by if you type in the name OOGA, you will use a pygmy from Bolt Creative's classic "Pocket God" instead of Doodle...

All in all a perfect version of what it is and if you like Papi Jump, you'll love this....
A truely addictive game....

Flight Control

Flight Control is an app where you control a series of planes into an airfield runway, attempting to stop two crafts colliding together, the result-Game Over...........
Flight Control has had a very successful time in the Top Paid Apps list and I honestly can't see why...

The graphics and asthetics may be good and the sound theme is catchy but the compliments stop there...
The game itself is horribly repetitive and irksome and there's no change or new fun that you can experience a second time round.......

It's settled then, I hate it, a mediocre game at best and as their Itunes page quotes," If you thought Flight Control couldn't get any more addictive..." Well it simply isn't..........

Flight Control is available from the Itunes Store for 59p or $0.99....

Minigore

Minigore is basically a character called John Gore who fights off hords upon hords of carniverous furry animals.......John luckily wields a thomson sub-machinegun with unlimited ammo and plans to fight them to the bitter end.......
Along the way the way you can pick up clovers (dropped by some furries)....three of them will transform Gore into what appears to be a giant goat or bull and for a short period of time can kill all the furries that you run into......
You can also walk into a box which will give you a double barreled shotgun with a limited amount of ammo.

As far as apps go, this game has got it all: Great gameplay, addictive, funny, violent, good graphics and at 59p or $0.99 this game is worth every penny and more.
In future updates they are planning to add a great multiplayer game to it and an insane mode for those who really are daring.......

All in all a wonderfull app, maybe lacking a bit of customization but it has many more updates to go and definately one of my favourite games....
In the future it would be good if they added health packs for you to pick up as well.

Pocket God

Pocket God is an app created by Bolt Creative and has had a great success so far in the Top Paid charts. Why?

Pocket God is an app where basically you take on the roll of an all powerful god doing what you like with your little islanders. You can currently feed them fish and coconuts and there are numerous ways to take out your rage upon them. Feed them to an eternally hungry shark or fire ants (Indiana Jones style), drown them, release a volcano upon them, electricute them, toss them up in a hurricane, release a vampire bat onto them, let them fight an aggitated T-Rex and so on...............

You can also name the islanders and write a little bit about them.

This is a very rare app indeed, it NEVER GETS BORING !!!!!!!!

They were also adding a new feature every week but with the Apple approval system, it slowed things down and now it's just a frequent update.

I have to say I love it. The idea, the creativity, the input, the entertainment.......it's all there.
Bolt Creative must be very proud of it and it is currently my favourite app.

In conclusion this is the must have app for any iphone or ipod touch and at only 59p or $99 I really belive it defines great value.
